Connections is a ministry for someone who loves connecting with people. If you have a heart for hospitality and welcoming others this is the ministry for you. Whether it's serving pizza or donuts in the Cafe, greeting someone at the doors, helping someone find a seat as a host, or welcoming ONEs to the church for the first time in the Tailgate, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life by helping them feel like they belong.

10-16 w/parent/guardian
17+ on own
Creative Communications Volunteer Photographers use their photography skills to help us capture the very best of New Hope Church. If you have a passion for photography and would love to use it to serve the church, then this is the team for you.
Miminum age to Serve: 18+
The Eyes and Ears team is a group of safety minded volunteers who specifically look for risks and dangers while church is in session as well as church related events. Do to the nature of this ministry team, a year long commitment is required.
Minimum Age to Serve: 21*
(*Consideration given to minimum age of 18+ for those in military, medical school, law enforcement, or specialty training)
The facilities team is a ministry for people who like to serve behind the scenes, preparing and maintaining the working order and appearance of each campus. We have opportunities for anyone with handy skills. There are also opportunities to serve during service times, keeping the building functional and ready for all who walk through the doors.
Miminum age to Serve: 18+
Interested in technology? If you're a behind the scenes type person or someone who enjoys a purposeful conversation, the IT Team has a spot for you. From helping people check-in on service days to phone support we have a place for every skill. While experience is valued, no prior training is required to join, we can equip most anyone to serve on our team. We have 3 different categories sure to fit your willingness to serve.
Miminum age to Serve: 18+
At New Hope Church, we believe in the value of community. That’s why we go big on the weekends and small during the week. LifeGroups meet regularly, study the Bible, pray for one another, and encourage each other to take our next step in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ. Leading a LifeGroup is a rewarding opportunity to be a disciple maker. We will give you the tools and training to succeed in serving in the LifeGroup Ministry.
Medical Emergency Response Team
The Medical Response Team or MERT is a group of volunteers who have any measure of medical experience, from nurses and doctors, to those who know CPR, who specifically look for risks or concerns while church is in session as well as at church related events. Due to the nature of this ministry team, a year long commitment is required.

New Hope Kids
New Hope Kids is a ministry for anyone who enjoys investing in children and their families as they come to Know Christ and Make Him Known! We have opportunities for you to serve upfront or behind the scenes which include Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Special needs and our Guest Relations Area. So whether you love rocking babies, welcoming new families or using your technical skills, we have a place for you. Come join the NHK fun!

New Hope Students
New Hope Students is a ministry for people who want to empower the next generation of believers. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for both students and adults. Opportunities include serving throughout weekend services, leading at camps, and helping out with LifeGroups. We hope that you would consider saying “YES!” to helping grow our student ministry.
Miminum age to Serve:
NHS LG Leadership: 17+
NHS MS & JH Camp Leaders: 16
NHS HS Camp: 18+
NHS Summer Camp
We partner with 100+ adult volunteers every year to help students experience life change at camp! We stick to a 8 students/leader ratio in groups to keep students safe. Tejas boasts A/C cabins with hot showers and twin-sized bunk beds! As a leader, you will be background checked, trained by our team, and equipped with a leader booklet to guide you through camp! Join us as we help students take their next step with the Lord.

NHS MS & JH Camp Leaders: 16+
NHS HS Camp: 18+
Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care volunteers love God by loving and serving others and pointing everyone to Jesus. Whether you choose to serve as a Prayer Partner, provide meals through Daily Bread, make visits to hospitalized New Hopers, or facilitate a Corner Group, you will have many opportunities to bless others and have a front-row seat to some of God's miracles-in-the-making. If you have the gift of compassion and encouragement, the Pastoral Care team is for you!
Minimum age to Serve: 18+
Production
If you'd like to work behind the scenes with audio, video, or lighting, join the Production team! You can be a part of making the weekly worship experience happen. No experience necessary.
Minimum Age Requirement:
10-15 w/parent/guardian

Worship
The Worship Team is looking for vocalists and musicians (guitar, bass, keys, or drums) to serve during our weekend services. Whether you can work every weekend or only certain weekends, we can use you! Audition required.
Minimum Age Requirement: 18+
