Day 18: Receive the Message

VERSE: How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15 

DEVOTIONAL: As Christ-followers, we have received the greatest gift of all time, and we have been instructed to share it with those who do not have it! That gift is the good news of Jesus Christ—what He did for you and I on the cross.

Today, let’s take a moment to thank God for His saving grace and ask Him to help us share it with others as best as we can. Christ has sent you—yes, YOU reading this!—to be a light that shines for Him. He will equip you and guide you if you step into this God-given task. What an honor it is to be considered worthy to tell those who do not know Jesus about the hope that we have in Him!

PRAYER: Lord, help us receive the message that You have for us. Help us to fully understand Your love and grace. Then, Lord, help us to go into our community and share the good news of Jesus to ALL! In our words and through our actions, guide us to be a bright light that shines for You and points people to You so that they may receive the message You have for them. Bring our family and friends to faith in You, Lord. Thank You for Your grace in our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
